Netgem Unveils IPTV iPhone App

Netgem (http://www.netgem.com), a leading provider of IPTV technology and services to Telecom operators worldwide, today announced the launch of its iPhone application, in partnership with telecom operator Monaco Telecom (http://www.monaco.mc).

An important customer and innovation partner of Netgem, Monaco Telecom plans to introduce the new mobile phone application in June 2010, enabling iPhone-owning customers to control the interactive Monaco TV service powered by NetgemTV via their mobile phone.

“The iPhone is an enormously popular device amongst our customers, so it was a logical next step to work with Netgem to introduce such a mobile application,” explained Martin Péronnet, Monaco Telecom’s managing director. “The feature rich TV service we have created with Netgem, allows us to seamlessly integrate broadcast and Internet delivered content into one very easy user experience. Adding a mobile service is an exciting step in our innovation roadmap.”
