TORONTO — Redknee (London AIM: RKN), a leading
provider of innovative infrastructure software that monetizes and
personalizes services and content for mobile operators, today announced the
appointment of Rich Evans as vice president for the Americas region.
Mr. Evans brings extensive experience in sales, operations, and
business development to Redknee. His management experience in global tier
one wireless companies, in addition to his expertise in developing new
markets, will be an asset to Redknee’s continued growth and expansion.

Previously, Mr. Evans was global director of sales for Actix, Ltd.,
where he led a team responsible for operations, sales and deployments. Past
positions include general manager of Americas at Openet Telecom, Inc.,
where he re-started the company’s North American operation, increased sales
to $25M over two years and positioned Openet as one of the leaders in
wireless mediation software in the U.S. Prior to Openet, Mr. Evans was vice
president of worldwide sales and operations for Vibrant Solutions (Now
Teoco). Mr. Evans has also held senior management and sales positions with
Portal Software (Now Oracle) and CSC’s Communications Industry Services
Division.
